The effects of psychological capital on citizens’ willingness to participate in food safety social co-governance in China

Abstract Psychological capital (PsyCap) motivates citizens to actively participate in social affairs. This study aims promote the application of PsyCap theory field public affairs and help establishment a food safety co-governance system practice. Based on questionnaire survey 752 urban Wuxi, China, this used latent profile analysis (LPA) classify into three different groups from perspective its four-dimensional composition. The influence various dimensions willingness was assessed compared using usefulness analysis. Results showed that obvious differences their PsyCap, which can be divided low, medium, high levels. All had an impact participate, but differed among groups. overall level greater citizens’ than any single dimension. In future construction system, guidance intervention strategies should implemented based
